    When restarting apache the following warning is displayed:

    [warn] _default_ VirtualHost overlap on port 443, the first has precedence

    This is because apache has a default in it's httpd.conf file and psa stores another one in the httpd.include file.

    entry in httpd.conf:

    <VirtualHost _default_:443>
    ErrorLog logs/error_log
    TransferLog logs/access_log
    SSLEngine on
    SSLCertificateFile /etc/httpd/conf/ssl.crt/server.crt
    SSLCertificateKeyFile /etc/httpd/conf/ssl.key/server.key
    <Files ~ "\.(cgi|shtml|phtml|php3?)$">
    SSLOptions +StdEnvVars
    </Files>
    <Directory "/var/www/cgi-bin">
    SSLOptions +StdEnvVars
    </Directory>
    SetEnvIf User-Agent ".*MSIE.*" \
    nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown \
    downgrade-1.0 force-response-1.0
    CustomLog logs/ssl_request_log \
    "%t %h %{SSL_PROTOCOL}x %{SSL_CIPHER}x \"%r\" %b"
    </VirtualHost>

    entry in httpd.include:

    <VirtualHost _default_:443>
    DocumentRoot /home/httpd/vhosts/default/httpsdocs
    SSLEngine on
    SSLVerifyClient none
    SSLCertificateFile /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.pem
    </VirtualHost>

    Does anyone know which one to comment out. Especially for the location of the SSLCertificateFile. I don't know which one to use.

    Regards,

    You can delete the one in httpd.conf. Or comment out, it's your choice. :)

    Sorry to bring an old thread back.

    Which one is the wise choice. Remove the one from httpd.conf or from psa.

    Seemes that httpd.conf has more of a complex configuration; where psa is less but it includes the some .pem files and such; and psa is sort of in control of apache, and others..

    A bare system with fresh Plesk installed on it; and I'm already having the issue. This is because (maybe) I installed all suggested RPMs and than added the rest.

    Thanks.

    I get:
    Code:
    Jul XX 15:01:32 hostname httpd: httpd shutdown succeeded
    Jul 10 15:01:32 hostname httpd: [Wed Jul 10 15:01:32 2002]
    [warn] _default_ VirtualHost overlap on port 443, the first has
    precedence
    Jul XX 15:01:32 hostname httpd:
    Jul XX 15:01:33 hostname httpd: httpd startup succeeded

    You should comment the 443 directive out in httpd.conf. I'm not sure what you mean by 'psa' in this context, but if you mean httpd.include; no, this will be overwritten every time psa restarts.
